Moon Meditation – a set of lunar, night-blooming illustrated products for home decor.
This series of illustrations for items for the home is all about the shimmering beauty of night. I was inspired by interesting beauties in the natural world that are influenced by the night and lunar cycles, and by the moon itself and the light it casts. When I was a little girl, my green-thumbed mom grew the mysterious night-blooming cereus. She’d wake me up to see it bloom in the full moon. And if I was lucky, I’d also get a glimpse of the striking Sphinx Moth.
